What We Do

There are eight topics we focus our expertise and advice. These are areas that each and every person will face on a regular basis at work and at home. Our goal is to create confidence in facing these events, and the capabilities to handle these situations in a safe and effective manner.

How We Do It

First, we assess your risks and prioritize your concerns. Secondly, we develop a customized strategy for your home or business to effectively address them to create a safer and more prepared environment. Before generating a personalized plan and strategy, through video, phone, email, and in-person meetings, we learn what is most important to YOU, and prioritize accordingly.

Our experience and training come from a wide variety of resources, from the US Navy, Federal Emergency Services, State and local Emergency Services, and Rescue Agencies. With such a diverse background, it uniquely qualifies us to handle a variety of safety scenarios in multiple ways. Our training and education is still active, which provides us with the most current information, tactics, and resources to pass on to our clients.

Who we are

We offer peace of mind, by preparing you to handle everyday possibilities. Often times the consequences of emergencies and traumatic events could have been minimized, or altogether altered with proper knowledge and training. While we cannot eliminate the events, we can prepare you for them. We take the time to ask questions and create a personalized approach best suited for your location, your resources, and your skillsets.

We are not a company that prescribes you a one size fits all solution. We do not have answers without information, and we certainly don't give you advice without understanding your specific wants and needs.

Why would I use CG TN if these are things I can do myself?

The training and experience we've acquired over the years allows us the opportunity to pass along that crucial information, sharing what works and what doesn't. You receive the benefit of learning from mistakes we have made, and the guidance to make the preparations before the event occurs. In other words, instead of having to read the "instruction manual", you get the "outline."

How long does a consulting project typically take?

The duration of a consulting project varies depending on the scope and complexity of the project. We will work with you to determine a timeline that meets your needs. It can be as short as a few weeks, and as long as a multi-year process. The more people you have, or more topics you want to address, the longer the project. We will give you a realistic goal at the beginning, but ultimately you determine the duration.

Does everyone get the same advice?

No. This is not a "cookie-cutter" model where you are simply handed a playbook. We identify your particular situation and advise based upon multiple factors specific to you. Even the custom plan we give you can change over time as your environment may change. (location/people/finances/resources)

Can I pick the topics or does CG TN decide for me?

You will choose the topic(s) for us to address. It is not recommended to cover all 8 topics in a short time, as it can be too much information to digest. We advise selecting what is most probable and/or relevant to you. Certainly we are able to cover more information over longer periods of time.
